Gary Ray Morgan, Sr.

Gary Ray Morgan, Sr., age 64 of Natalbany, Louisiana, passed away at his home on Tuesday, July 21, 2020 with his family by his side. He was born on Friday, December 16, 1955, in Independence, Louisiana, to Robert “Sonny” and Rosalie Pardo Morgan. Gary enjoyed life and loved fishing, gardening, working out and staying fit, yard work and staying busy, but he especially loved spending time with his grandson Owen Ray and his family. 

Gary is survived by his loving wife of almost 46 years, Gail Bankston Morgan, his sons, Gary Morgan, Jr., and Jeremy Morgan, his grandson Owen Ray Morgan, his brother John Morgan and his sisters, Gladys Kirkland and Mary Catalanotto and her husband Paul, also many nieces, nephews and close friends. 

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, Robert “Sonny” and Rosalie Pardo Morgan. 

A Visitation for Gary will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2020 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am at Natalbany Baptist Church in Natalbany. A Funeral Service Celebrating Gary's Life will immediately follow visitation at 11:00 am in the church. Entombment will follow at Rose Memorial Park Mausoleum in Hammond.
