Gary Lee Joiner

Gary Lee Joiner, of Hammond, Louisiana, passed away at St. Tammany Parish Hospital on Wednesday, February 3, 2021, at the age of 69. He was born on February 12, 1951, in Hammond, Louisiana.

Gary is survived by his fiancée, Marie Smith; children, Travis Joiner (Jackie), Justin Joiner (Tonya), Shellie Reid (Nipper Bush), and Kellee Williams (Dustin); grandchildren, Jordan, Taylor (Kyle), Shelbie, Brent, Seth, Mallorie, Morgan and Brodie; great grandson, Cohen; mother, Margaret Sistrunk Joiner; brothers, Ed Joiner (Anita) and Jerry Joiner (Paula); sister, Belinda; and beloved dog, Bella. Gary is also survived by his extended family, Stephanie Wright (Garrett), Michael Ott (Whitney), and Kylie and Kailyn Boucvalt.

He was preceded in death by his father, Donald Amiel Joiner, infant son, Gary Lee Joiner, II, and sister, Donna Lynn Joiner.

Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401 on Sunday, February 7, 2021 from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm. A Funeral Service will begin at 2:00 pm.

Interment will follow at Johnson Cemetery in Tickfaw, Louisiana.
