Gary Lee Bauerle

Gary Lee Bauerle, 66, of Hammond passed away on Thursday, March 29, 2018.  He was born on Saturday, December 8, 1951 in Hammond, Louisiana to John Bernard Bauerle Sr. and Hazel Browning Bauerle. Gary enjoyed life and loved woodworking, RV camping, fishing, yard work, gardening (loved watching everything grow), but he especially loved pleasing his wife Cindy and spending time with family.

Gary is survived by his loving wife, Cindy Cowling Bauerle; his daughters, Laura Bauerle and Lisa (Chris) Blanchard; step sons, Mark (Courtney) Lentz and John (Leah) Lentz; grandchildren, Preston, Emma, Nathaniel, Zoe, Haden, Izik, Ronin, Aidan, Alaina, Addison, and Patrick Jr.; brothers, John B (Sarah) Bauerle, Jr., Charles R (Christina) Bauerle, and David B (Marcia) Bauerle, also many nieces, nephews and close friends.

Gary was preceded in death by his parents, John Bernard Bauerle, Sr. and Hazel Browning Bauerle; his step son, Patrick Anthony Lentz, Sr. and his step mother, Ruth Sutton.

A Visitation for Gary will be held on Tuesday, April 3, 2018, from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm and will resume Wednesday, April 4, 2018, from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm. at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond. A Funeral Service Celebrating Gary's Life will immediately follow Wednesday's visitation at 12pm in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in Rose Memorial Park in Hammond.
