Garrett Overton Woodall

Garrett Overton Woodall, of Natalbany, Louisiana, passed away on Wednesday, May 17, 2023, at the age of 29. He was born on February 14, 1994, in Covington, Louisiana. Garrett was known for his kind, gentle demeanor and a special love for his family, especially his daughter Camella, who was his entire world. He loved being with his family and friends. In 2012, a high school graduate at St. Thomas Aquinas, he lettered in football and soccer. He enjoyed the years at Trafton Academy thru the PreK and 8th grades, where he discovered his love of learning and playing team sports, especially soccer.  
Garrett was preceded in death by his grandparents, Peggy Jo Chavers Woodall and Carroll "Woody" Woodall.

Garrett is survived by his daughter, Camella Rose Woodall of Hammond, LA; mother, Robyn Eilzabeth Woodall of Natalbany, LA; father, Dr. John Dickerson and wife Stacy of Wichita, KS; grandparents, Dr. and Mrs. Herbert and Viki Dickerson of League City, TX; and siblings, Amber Bjarnason of Kansas City, KS, Shane Bjarnason of Katy, TX, Bryanna Waddell and husband Austin of Kansas City, KS, and Grace Dickerson of Wichita, KS.

Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401 on Saturday, May 27, 2023 from 5:00 pm until 8:00 pm. 

Garrett's final resting place will be at Rose Memorial Park Mausoleum in Hammond, Louisiana.
