Freddie Henry Anderson

Freddie Henry Anderson, passed away on Thursday, September 5, 2019, at PAM Specialty Hospital of Hammond at the age of 75. He was the son of Fred and Lucille Anderson. He was a member of the Huff Chapel United Methodist Church in Killian, Louisiana. Freddie loved going to church on Sunday mornings. He also loved all music, most of all playing his guitar. Freddie loved playing baseball, basketball, and football, he loved blowing his bubbles.

Freddie is survived by his two brothers, Jerome Anderson (Patsy) and Charlie Anderson (Lois); three sisters, Betty Pinion, Lucille Fernandez, and Cecile Bush (Andy); as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Fred Anderson; mother, Lucille Ryan Anderson; sisters, Ethel Mae Anderson Poche and Mildred Anderson Lewis; and brothers, Joseph Merlin Berthelot, Raymond Anderson, and two infant brothers.

Family and friends will be received at Huff Chapel United Methodist Church, 30000 Huff Chapel Rd. Springfield, Louisiana 70462,  on Monday, September 9, 2019 from 10:00 am until 11:00 am.

A funeral service will be held at the church on Monday, immediately following the visitation at 11:00 am, with Rev. Milton Bourque Jr. officiating.

Interment will follow at Davidson Cemetery in Killian, Louisiana.
