Freda Mullin Miller

Freda Mullen Miller, age 80, died August 4, 2021 at Summerfield Senior Living, Hamond, La surrounded by her family.  She was born January 2, 1941 to the late Earnest and Mildred Mullen. She married Bobby Harold Miller January 17, 1960 at Hillsdale Baptist Church.  She was very active in her church community at both Hillsdale Church and First Baptist Amite Church.  She was the purchasing agent for the St. Helena Police Jury and retired after 25 years.  Freda survived by her three daughters, Sonya  Regenberg ( David), Charlene Miller (Daniel), Tymple Smith; a brother, Robert Wayne Mullen; grandchildren, Rebecca Regenberg, Laura Regenberg, Chase Miller, Colby Miller, David Smith II, Daniel Smith, Spencer Smith, Malakie Smith, and Kate Smith; and a great granddaughter, Olivia Regenberg.  Freda is preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Bobby H Miller; sister, Nita Powell; and brothers, E.L. Mullen, and Bobbie Mullen.  A visitation will be held at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd., Hammond, Saturday, August 7, 2021, from 11:00a.m. until services. Funeral services will be held at 1:00pm., in the funeral home chapel conducted by Pastor Mike Foster and Brother Dennis Walker.  Freda will be laid to rest next to her husband at Hillsdale Cemetery, Hillsdale. LA.
