Frankie Morgan, resident of Robert, Louisiana passed away peacefully at Belle Maison Nursing Home Sunday, November 2, 2025, at the age of 91. She was born on Thursday, December 28, 1933 in Ponchatoula, LA.
Frankie loved gardening and working outside in her yard. She also kept up with everyone's birthday and anniversary. And at some point and time, your age or years married, were on the birthday and anniversary club. She worked at Ponchatoula feed and Seed for 22 years. She was an avid sports fan. She loved LSU and the Saints, but if they were not playing, she was watching whatever sport was on.
Frankie is survived by her son-in-law Roy Bankston Sr. (Veronica), 3 grandchildren, Hope Taylor (Matt), Heather Costanza (Tony) and Roy Bankston Jr. (Dodi). 2 Bonus grandchildren, Stephanie Seal (Chad) and Ronnie Polito. 9 Great-Grandchildren, Harley Smith (Brennon), Destin Costanza (Alec), Laine Taylor, Gracee Nettles (Eli), Morgan Watson (Hunter), Makaila Taylor (Creek), Megan Brown (Sonny), Sarah & Emma Bankston. 5 Bonus great-grandchildren, Jack Henry, Hudson & Eleanor Seal and Carson and Callie Polito. 6 great-great grandchildren, Ava, Easton, Rhett (lil Rex), Harper, Josie, Riley and 2 on the way-Baby Watson, & Baby Brown. One sister, Mary Myers. Many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her parents Festus and Catherine Bardwell, husband, Larkin Morgan, her only child, Nan Fletcher Bankston, great-great-grandchild, Baby Nettles, 6 brothers, Vernon "Harold" Bardwell, Kenneth Bardwell, Winston "Toot" Bardwell, Marion Bardwell, Eustis Bardwell and Glyn Bardwell, and 5 sisters, Juanita McBeth, Inez Bardwell, Patricia Falgout, Sharon Prevost and Beatrice Stass.
We would like to thank Hospice of Baton Rouge for all of their kind support and dedication to making her feel loved. Especially Jennifer Johnson &
Erika King. And her caretakers at Belle Maison especially Caroline, Rose and Pam.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond, 2000 N Morrison Boulevard, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Thursday, November 6, 2025, from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. The visitation will continue the following day, Friday, November 7, 2025, beginning at 9:00 AM until the funeral service begins at 11:00 AM.
Interment will follow at Gatlin Cemetery, Hammond, Louisiana.
