Frank Joe Thompson

Frank Joe Thompson, of Loranger, Louisiana, passed away at North Oaks Medical Center on Monday, August 15, 2022, at the age of 75. He was born on March 15, 1947, in Amite, Louisiana, to the late John Henry "John R" Thompson and Dorothy Laura Lautier Thompson.

Frank is survived by his daughters, Vicki Barnes (Frank) and Laura McCurley (Shawn); grandchildren, Breyer Barnes (Taylor), Brianna McCurley, Colt Barnes, and Collin McCurley; great grandsons, Joseph Howard, Cooper Barnes, and one on the way, Casen Barnes; sisters, Sylvia Misita and Ann Bobbit (Ed); and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his wife, Elaine Burnthorn Thompson; brother, John Rex Thompson; sister, Frances Thompson; brother-in-law, Anthony "Coach Tony" Misita; and nieces, Tony Lynn Misita Wilson and Sandy Burnthorn.

A Graveside Service will be held at Briar Patch Cemetery in Loranger, Louisiana on Saturday, September 24, 2022 at 11:00 am.
