Frank Donald Guiffreda

Frank Donald Guiffreda, of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, passed away at Richard Murphy Hospice House on Thursday, October 27, 2022, at the age of 93. He was born on October 24, 1929, in Tickfaw, Louisiana, the son of the late Pasquale Guiffreda, Sr. and Virginia Giaratano Guiffreda. Frank was a proud veteran of the U.S. Air Force serving as a radar specialist and an Electrolux vacuum salesman for over 60 years.

Frank is survived by his wife, Netye Douglas Vining Guiffreda; son, David Frank Guiffreda and wife Felicia; step children, Peggy, Jeffrey, and Pat; grandchildren, Tammy, Jeffrey Scott, Billy Jr., Jason, Bridget, Brandy, Daniel, Eric, Hudson, David, and Sheena; 26 great grandchildren; great great grandson, Hudson; brother, Roy Guiffreda; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his first wife, Viola Vining Guiffreda; daughter, Brenda Guiffreda Bates; granddaughter, Brittney Bates; grandson, Jeremy Lopez; and siblings, Pasquale "Pas" Guiffreda, Jr., Patricia Guiffreda, Annie Guiffreda, Lena Guiffreda, Sarah Guiffreda, Mary Guiffreda Sheehan, and Phillip Guiffreda.

Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 100 W. Magnolia St., Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454 on Sunday, October 30, 2022 from 11:00 am until 1:00 pm.

A Funeral Service will be held at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home -  Ponchatoula on Sunday at 1:00 pm.

Entombment will follow at Ponchatoula Cemetery in Ponchatoula, Louisiana.
