Frank Brent McCarroll

Frank Brent went to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at the age of 85 on Sunday, November 6, 2022 surrounded by his loving family.  He loved his family dearly and was a proud father, brother, grandfather, uncle and friend, who will be greatly missed.  Frank was a charismatic, fun loving, witty, larger than life, one of a kind, and colorful character.  He enjoyed watching football, being on the riverbank, pulling pranks, and most of all laughing and having fun with others.

He is survived by his daughter, Bonnie Faye McCarroll Gregoire (Bruce); 3 grandchildren, Thomas Brent McCarroll (Brittany), Ashley Ledet (Caleb), Jessica Gregoire; 4 great grandchildren, Brennan James Ledet, Ava Nicole Ledet, Jayden Claire Hawthorne, Brady Thomas McCarroll; as well as his stepson and buddy, John Kinion Bankston. He is also survived by his brother, Earl McCarroll; and his sisters, Carolyn Gilmore (Jimmy), and Audilia McCarroll.

Preceding him in death are his parents, Frank and Amelia McCarroll; brothers, Raoul McCarroll, Charles McCarroll, and Ronald McCarroll; sister, Cora Ann Methvein; and his granddaughter, Lauren Faye Gregoire.

Family and friends are invited to attend the visitation for Mr. Frank on Wednesday, November 9th, 2022, at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond, Louisiana from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m.  Visitation will resume on Thursday, November 10th, 2022, from 8:00 a.m. until the Celebration of Life Service at 10:00 a.m.  Interment will follow in Carter Cemetery in Springfield, Louisiana.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home.
