Francis Edward Holmes

Francis Edward Holmes, of Hammond, Louisiana, passed away at his home on Tuesday, October 1, 2019, at the age of 78. He was born on August 2, 1941, in Hammond, Louisiana, the son of the late John Edward Holmes and Lena Harper Holmes. Francis was a proud dairy farmer his whole life. He put his heart and soul into his work and loved his farm very much.

Francis is survived by his brother, Tommy Holmes, sister, Caroline Lester, as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and step grandchildren.

A graveside service will be held at Johnson Cemetery, at Johnson Cemetery Road in Tickfaw, on Friday, October 4, 2019 at 11:00 am, with Josh Payne officiating.
