Frances Valenti Cannino

Frances Valenti Cannino passed away on Thursday, October 6, 2022, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 79.  She was born on Thursday, April 1, 1943 in Tampa, Florida to the late Ethel Landry Valenti and the late Joseph Peter Valenti, Sr.  She was a resident of Hammond, Louisiana.

Frances is survived by her husband of 60 years, Frank David Cannino, Sr.; children, Frank David Cannino, Jr. and his wife, Patty, Karen Cannino Stephens and her husband, Kenny, and Paula Cannino Fernandez and her husband, Blake; grandchildren, Brian Cannino and his wife, Chassity, Jesse Cannino and his wife, Chelsea, Kory Stephens and his fiancée, Felicia, Kamie Williams and her husband, Austin, Sophie Fernandez, Colin Fernandez, Hale Fernandez, and Luke Fernandez; great-grandchildren, Brennon Cannino, Brilan Cannino, Elena Cannino, Elliann Cannino, Sophia Cannino, Waylon Cannino, Aubrey Cannino, Kennedy Stephens, and Charley Williams; brother, Robert Valenti; nieces, Courtney DePriest and Nicole Hart; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and loving family.

In addition to her parents, Frances was also preceded in death by her siblings, Joyce Monistere, Joseph "Sonny" Valenti, Jr., Sammy Valenti, Jimmy Valenti, Jerry Valenti, and Donny Valenti.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Holy Ghost Catholic Church in Hammond, 600 N Oak Street, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Monday, October 10, 2022 from 9:30 AM until the funeral mass begins at 11:30 AM.    

Interment will follow in Rose Memorial Park Cemetery, Hammond, Louisiana.
