Frances Marie Ferrara Milazzo

Frances Marie Ferrara Milazzo passed away on Monday, August 7, 2017, at the Richard Murphy Hospice House in Hammond, at the age of 77.  She was born on Thursday, October 5, 1939 in New Orleans, to the late Josephine Catherine Pecoraro Ferrara and Joseph John Ferrara.  She was a lifelong resident of Hammond, Louisiana.

Frances is survived by her beloved husband of 63 wonderful years, Louis Joseph Milazzo, Sr.; her adoring children, daughter, Mary Milazzo Tollett and her husband, Lynn; son, Louis J. Milazzo, Jr. and his wife, Monica; and son, Joseph  Milazzo and his wife, Lynda; two sisters, Christine "Dolly" Ezelle and JoAnn Giannobile and her husband, Buddy; eight grandchildren, Haley, Jeff, Brittany, Lindsay, Holly, Nicole, Daniel, and Louis III, and 12 great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents Josephine and Joseph Ferrara and her grandson, Davin Tollett.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 601 North Oak Street, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Thursday, August 10, 2017 at 11:00 am.  Visitation will be held at church from 9:00 am until 11:00 am.

Interment will follow in Colonial Cemetery Mausoleum, Independence, Louisiana.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Richard Murphy Hospice Foundation, 16013 Halbert Road , Hammond, LA 70403, in memory of Frances.
