Frances L. Lemoine was born August 24, 1938, in Waggaman, and passed away October 3, 2022, in Hammond. Â She was a resident of Loranger and former resident of Waggaman. Â Frances was a member of Cooperâs Chapel United Methodist Church and ran food boxes for both Cooperâs Chapel and Loranger United Methodist Churches. Â She volunteered for the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts for over 20 years, and coached basketball, baseball, and volleyball. Â Frances is survived by her husband, David J. Lemoine; children, Eddie Griffen (Barbara), Brian Griffen (Lisa), Tammy Smith (Don), and Paula Griffen; stepchildren, Suzie Englade (Ryne) and Richie Lemoine (Kristi; brother, Ronnie LeBlanc (Becky); sister, Nelrose Debruler; grandchildren, David, Michelle, Kyle, Nicholas, Steven, Corey, Paul and Jesse; step grandchildren, Amber and Will, and numerous great grandchildren nieces and nephews. Â She is preceded in death by her parents, Melvin and Annie Cascio LeBlanc, husband of first marriage, Edwin âPeteâ Griffen; and brother, Melvin LeBlanc, Jr. Â A memorial service will be held at a later date at Cooperâs Chapel United Methodist Church.
