Frances Lee Fendlason Bardwell

Frances Lee Fendlason Bardwell, of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, passed away on Friday, July 5, 2024, at the age of 88. She was born on August 27, 1935, in Ponchatoula, the daughter of the late Marcele Levi Fendlason and the late Doris Jeanette Milton Fendlason. Frances worked at First Guarantee Bank in Hammond for over 20 years. She and her husband spent much of their lives together traveling as missionaries and building churches all over the world. Frances was a Godly mother and grandmother and she will be missed dearly.

Frances is survived by her sons, Danny Bardwell (Debbie), Randy Bardwell (Karen), and Eugene Bardwell (Mary Ann); grandchildren, Scott (Melissa), Neley, Micheal (Kelsey), Ann Frances (William), Jeremy, Melody (Fabian), and Christina; great grandchildren, Brock, Attalie, Truett, Brighton, and Lane; brother, Glynn Fendlason (Linda); sister, Donna Ann Spence; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to her parents Frances was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Jerry Bardwell, and sister, Mary Clark.

Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 100 W. Magnolia St., Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454 on Wednesday, July 10, 2024 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am. 

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday at 11:00 am, with Rev. Larry Lassley officiating.

Interment will follow at Sand Hill Cemetery in Ponchatoula, Louisiana.
