Frances Peco Alack

Frances Peco Alack, age 91, was born March 18, 1934, in Hammond, to the late Ben and Mary Thibodeaux Peco. Due to her mother’s passing at a young age, she was raised by Fannie Monistere Peco. She passed away May 16, 2025, in Hammond. Frances was a lifelong resident of Hammond, a parishioner of Holy Ghost Catholic Church, and retired from Elmer’s Candy Factory.

She is survived by her brother, Albert B. Peco, and his wife, Antoinette; sister in law, Nickie Peco; nieces, Karen Peco Christiana, and her husband, Jimmy, and Tammy Peco Phillips, and her husband, Jimmy, nephew, Vic Peco, and his wife, Belinda; and numerous great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her husband of first marriage, Bob Ketcher, her husband of second marriage, Nat Alack; brother, Vic Peco, and sister, Ida Langston.

Visitation will be held at Holy Ghost Catholic Church, 600 North Oak Street, Hammond, Thursday, May 22, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. until Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. Frances will be buried in Rose Memorial Park Cemetery.
