Florence Annie Borer Hall

Florence Annie Borer Hall, of Ponchatoula, passed away on Wednesday, 3 April 2024, at the age of 82. Florence was born on 4 March 1942, in Amite, LA to the late Hollis and Collean Sharkey Borer. Florence is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 58 years, Jesse James Hall. Florence leaves behind her daughter, Kimberly Collean Hall Broussard of Ponchatoula and one grandson, her pride and joy, Paul Mark Broussard, III of Hammond. She has one sister, Elizabeth Gail Sharp (Dannie), also of Ponchatoula.
Additionally, Florence had the honor of being a second mother to her precious niece, Leisa Carter Corkern (Darrell) of Amite, who will miss her terribly; her childhood best friend, Patsy Kraft of Ponchatoula and later in life, Jean Kupper Pinion, also of Ponchatoula, who became like her sister.
Florence was proceeded in death by her youngest daughter, Elizabeth Marie Hall Moisant.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, 9 April 2024 from 9:00am-11:00am, immediately followed by prayer and remembrance at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, Ponchatoula. A private, family burial will conclude at Kedron Cemetery, Amite, LA.
