Florence Edna Campbell

Florence Edna Campbell  passed away on Sunday, February 3, 2019, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 94.  She was born on Sunday, July 27, 1924 in Springfield, Louisiana to the late Lotti Hill and the late Edgar Ballard.  She was a resident of Ponchatoula, Louisiana.

Florence is survived by her daughters, Lana Stanford, Lois Robinson, Winnola Hedgecoke, and Darlene Boudreaux; sons, Edgar, Nathan, and Darrell Campbell; sister Gerline Melancon; eighteen grandchildren; thirty-nine great-grandchildren; and twelve great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Florence was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. John L. Campbell, Sr.; son, John L. Campbell, Jr.; brothers, Lawrence and Cecil Ballard; sister, Hila Mae Amorella; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula, 100 W. Magnolia St., Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454, on Friday, February 8, 2019 at 6:00 PM until 9:0 PM.  The Visitation will continue Saturday, February 9, 2019 at 12:00 PM, until the Funeral Service begins at 1:00 PM.

Interment will follow in Ponchatoula Cemetery, Ponchatoula, Louisiana.
