Flora Irene Tarver

Flora Irene Tarver entered into eternal rest on October 17,2023. She was born on February 22,1932 to her beloved parents, the late George and Clara Jane McAllister. She is also preceded in death by her loving husband of 72 years, Milton Eugene Tarver; their babies, Jerome, Timothy, and Baby Girl; and her siblings, George, JT, James (Bud), Dude, Pearl, Vissie, and Annie. Flora is the loving mother of Sarah Jane Wasson (David). Grandmother of Heather and Kiley (Mark). Great Grandmother of Lindsay (Josh), Mark Jr., Pierce, Tristen, Noel, Trent, Colby, and Miley. Great-Great Grandmother of Lilah Mae. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. She lived the majority of her years in Oak Grove, Buras, and Loranger. Although she will be missed greatly, her family and friends know without a shadow of doubt, that she is walking hand in hand with her savior, Jesus Christ. Granny’s legacy will live on through many generations. A graveside ceremony will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October  21, 2023, at Oak Grove Cemetery, Oak Grove, LA.
