Flora Ann Dupuis Marceaux

Flora Ann Dupuis Marceaux passed away on Monday, December 12, 2022, in Ponchatoula, Louisiana, at the age of 87.  She was born on Tuesday, August 20, 1935 in Morgan City, Louisiana to the late Sophie Pearl Breaux Dupuis and the late Frank Beldon Dupuis.  She was a resident of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, served as an active member at St. Joseph Catholic Church as an Extraordinary Minister, in the churches Women's Ministry and the St. Vincent de Paul foundation.

Flora is survived by her children, Horace John Marceaux, Jr. and his wife, Heidi, Cynthia Marceaux, and Joseph Frank Marceaux and his wife, Christi; grandchildren, Horace John "Trey" Marceaux III and his wife, Mary Beth, Louis Joseph Marceaux, Sophie Gentile and her husband, Angelo, Penny Marceaux, Alexis Marceaux, Nathan Marceaux and his wife, Kate, Olivia Graziano and her husband, Michael, and Taylor Bougere and her husband, Joseph; great-grandchildren, Emmett Marceaux, Maddie Marceaux, Margot Graziano, Chloe Marceaux, William Marceaux, and Sadie Jo Bougere; sisters, Beverly Merle Mula, Jeanine Gray, Mary Francis Simpson, and Susie Myers and her husband, Jerry.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 64 years, Horace John Marceaux; and her parents, Sophie Pearl Breaux Dupuis and Frank Beldon Dupuis.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the rosary at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula, 100 W. Magnolia Street, Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454, on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at 10:00 am. A visitation will follow the rosary beginning at 10:30 AM until the memorial service begins at 12:30 PM.

A private interment will follow at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in Flora's name to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
