Fennie Nicolosi Tallo

Fennie Nicolosi Tallo, born on January 5th, 1932, in Hammond, Louisiana, passed away peacefully on March 14th, 2025. She was 93 years old.

Fennie was a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and friend. She was married to Sam J. (Pat) Tallo, who preceded her in death in March 2015. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and cherished memories.

Fennie is survived by her beloved sister, Rosalie Nicolosi Collura, who resides in Hammond, Louisiana, Fennie’s three children, who were the pride and joy of her life: -Patricia Tallo Booth, who resides in Fort Collins, Colorado, with her husband Stephen Booth, - Carla Tallo Dreitlein, who lives in Knoxville, Tennessee, with her husband Carl Dreitlein, - Kenneth Tallo, who resides in El Dorado Hills, California, with his wife Laurie Manning Tallo, Fennie’s seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren, and a host of beloved nieces, nephews and family members.

Fennie will be remembered for her warm heart, her unwavering love for her family, and her ability to bring joy to those around her. Her legacy will live on through her children and the countless lives she touched throughout her journey.

A Celebration of Life will be held to honor Fennie’s life and legacy at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, LA, 70401, on May 3, 2025, with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m., until the memorial service at 11:30 am. Internment will follow at Rose Memorial Park Cemetery in Hammond, LA.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to a charity of your choice in Fennie’s memory.
