Felicie Coniglio Passalaqua

Felicie Marie Coniglio Passalaqua was born in Independence, LA, August 25, 1931, to the late Sam and Lena Coniglio. She passed away in Hammond, LA, July 10, 2026. She was a resident of Independence and a parishioner of Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church in Independence. Felicie loved her family and always enjoyed attending family functions. She enjoyed watching football, especially the Saints. Felicie is survived by her brother, Anthony “Tony” Coniglio and wife Billie Jean; nieces Toni Jean Catalano, Lena Marie Bryant, and husband James and Debbie Langlois and husband David; her nephew, Butch Coniglio and wife Karen; numerous great nieces and nephews; and great great nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Johnny Passalaqua; and her brother, August “Gus” Coniglio. Visitation will be held at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Boulevard, Tuesday, July 14, 2026, from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m. Mass of Christian Burial will follow at Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church, 620 3rd Street, Independence at 10:30 a.m. Entombment will follow in Colonial Mausoleum, Independence, LA.
