Fannie Ruth "Tate" Whiddon

Fannie Ruth "Tate" Whiddon  passed away on Saturday, December 18, 2021, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 82.  She was born on Sunday, November 5, 1939 in Livingston, Louisiana to the late Pearl R. Tate and the late Frank Tate. She was a resident of Independence, Louisiana.

Fannie is survived by her daughter, Vonda Anthony (Kenneth), son, Keith, Darrell and Robert Whiddon, brothers, Kelly (Evelyn), Darrel (Mary), Ray (Jae) and Frank (Geraldine) Tate, sister, Janell Beregi (Russell), as well as numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Harold Leo Whiddon; mother, Pearl R Tate; father, Frank Tate; infant sister, Adeline Tate; as well as her infant son, Harold Leo Whiddon.

Services will be private and officiated by the Rev. Kenneth Anthony.

The family would also like to thank New Century Hospice and the staff and residence of Belle Maison for their services.
