Eugenia "Jeanie" Mae Vitrano

Eugenia "Jeanie" Mae Vitrano, of New Orleans, Louisiana, passed away at Carpenter House on Saturday, March 4, 2023, at the age of 79. She was born on Tuesday, May 11, 1943, in Whitehall, Louisiana.

The family would like to extend their thanks to the staff at Ochsner-Baptist Hospital and also the Staff at St. Josephs Hospice.

Jeanie  is survived by her husband of 40 years, Vincent Vitrano; daughter & son-in-law, Melissa and David Berner; son, George  DeDual; son & daughter-in-law, Kevin and Kristen DeDual; granddaughter, Cory DeDual; great-grandchildren, Heaven, Sky, Bella; step-daughters, Kathleen Vitrano and Cheryl Fos; step-grandchildren, Trisha and Mark Jr..

She was preceded in death by her parents, Eugene and Edna Hernandez; also an  infant son, Keith  DeDual.

Family and friends will be received at St. Stephen Catholic Church, 22494 Highway 22, Maurepas, Louisiana 70449 on Wednesday, March 8, 2023 from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm.

A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Stephens Catholic Church,  on Wednesday at 12:00 pm, with Father Jason Palermo officiating.

Interment will follow at Whitehall Cemetery in Maurepas, Louisiana.

Services have been entrusted to Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home.
