Esther Claire Naroola

Esther “Esta” Claire Gannon Naroola, age 50, of Hammond, Louisiana, passed away suddenly on Tuesday, July 14, 2020, at her home. She was born November 1, 1969, in Queens New York, to G.T. Gannon and Claire Rose Biedermann Gannon. Esther was a very charismatic woman who loved her family. Esta never met a stranger, she could speak to anyone about anything. Esther is a SLU alumnus with a bachelor’s degree. She enjoyed educating herself in both books and hobbies: She joined the Eighth Ward Vol.Fire Department 2006-2008 where she completed both fire and medical training, she completed firearms courses, arson investigations, continuing education in accounting, she studied Buddhism and American Indian history of which is her heritage through Grace Keen Gannon. Esther loved to vacation in other countries (Jamaica was the first of many), she enjoyed going to firing ranges, camping, collecting owls and chiweenie dogs, she loved motorcycles, guns and visiting the younger generation of the family. Esther was a lively loving friend and had a big heart.She would do anything she could to help a friend.

Esther is survived by her son, Blasé Thomas Naroola, ex-husband Pabjeet S. Naroola, her sister Amanda K. Gannon, her aunt Mary Biedermann, her nieces and nephews, Xavier S. and wife Victoria N. Ramirez, Americo S. Ramirez,Ian G. and wife Ayonnah Ramirez, Rosalie M. Wiltshire, her great nieces and nephews, Jason Pierce, Evan Pierce, Eryn Ramirez-Gannon, Logan Ramirez- Gannon, Quinn Ramirez, also many cousins and friends she loved with all her heart.

A visitation for Esta will be held on Tuesday, July 21, 2020 from 11:00 am until 2:00 pm at Harry McKneely & Sons Funeral Home in Hammond. A Memorial Service Celebrating Esta’s Life will immediately follow visitation at 2:00 pm in the funeral home chapel.
