Ernie Perry Bigner

Ernie Perry Bigner passed away on Wednesday, August 10, 2022, in Ponchatoula, Louisiana, at the age of 81.  She was born on March 24, 1941, in Madisonville, Louisiana to the late Ada Tyson Perry and the late Ralph Willard Perry.  She was a resident of Ponchatoula, Louisiana.

Ernie is survived by her children, Cheryl Bigner Compton (Bill), Chuck Bigner (Sheri), Steven Bigner, and Scott Bigner; sister, Barbara Perry Thompson; grandchildren, Heather Dykes (William Scott), Nicholas Bigner (Brittany), Brooke Cannino (Scott), Christian Bigner (Ellis), Aaron Bigner (Haley), Cameron Bigner (Kamryn), Landon Bigner, and Kendra Sharp; and 9 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Charles Bigner, father, Ralph Willard Perry; and her mother, Ada Tyson Perry.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 100 West Magnolia Street, Ponchatoula LA on Saturday, August 20, 2022, beginning at 9:00 AM until the funeral service begins at 11:00 PM.  

Interment will follow in Sand Hill Cemetery, Ponchatoula, Louisiana.
