Ernestine Robertson Howes

Ernestine Robertson Howes, of Robert, Louisiana, passed away at her home on Monday, September 9, 2024, at the age of 88. She was born on October 4, 1935, in Independence, Louisiana, the daughter of the late Ray Robertson and Goldie Bennett Robertson.

Ernestine is survived by her daughter, Sherie Needham (Todd); grandchildren, Savanah Jarrell (Rayne), Dakotah Needham (Kellie), Karagan Stewart (Zack), and Sawyer Needham (Sydney); great grandchildren, Khloe, Kinsleigh, Collyns, and Madden; special niece and caregiver, Glenda Peek; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Ernestine was preceded in death by her husband, Alden Howes; son, Scott Howes; and siblings, Hollis Robertson, Carol Cox, Leland "Buddy" Robertson, Stanley Robertson, Elzene Basso, and Curtis Robertson.

A Graveside Service will be held at Loranger Community Cemetery, Hwy 40, Loranger, Louisiana 70446 on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at 1:00 pm, with Pastor Dale Ziebarth officiating.
