Ernest Elliott Murphy 
Ernest "Elliott" Murphy, age 83, passed away on October 23, 2023 in Hammond, Louisiana.  He was born on August 2, 1940 to the late Emma and William Murphy.  Elliott was big in stature but was a sweet, kind and caring as they come, he would even give the shirt off of his back if it came down to it.  He retired from Entergy after many years of dedicated service.  Elliott was known as a tenderhearted man that would help anyone who needed it and will be missed by all who knew him.
He was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, and four sisters. 
Survived by two sisters, Corinna and Ione; one brother, Earl; and many nieces and nephews. 
There will be no services, according to his wishes.
