Erma Mae Nuccio Calamia

Erma Mae Nuccio Calamia passed away on Saturday, November 12, 2022, in Covington, Louisiana, at the age of 86.  She was born on Tuesday, March 31, 1936 in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late Irma Allemond Nuccio and the late Joseph Nuccio.  She was a resident of Loranger, Louisiana.

Erma is survived by her son, Frank Calamia and his wife, Starr; grandchildren, Sara Calamia, Nicholas Calamia, Mark Scallan; daughter-in-law Nikki Calamia; grandchildren Vanessa Calamia, Tommy Richard Calamia III, Shane Calamia, and Felecity Calamia; and great-grandchildren, LaMarca (Tank), Trevor, Oakley, and Beau.

In addition to her parents, Erma was also preceded in death by her husband, Thomas S. Calamia, Sr.; son, Thomas S. Calamia, Jr.; brother, Anthony J. Nuccio; and sister, Mary Ann Nuccio Augello.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond, 2000 N. Morrison Boulevard, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Sunday, November 27, 2022 beginning at 9:00 AM until the funeral service begins at 11:00 AM.

Interment will follow in Ponchatoula Cemetery, Ponchatoula, Louisiana.
