Erika Waldraut Guthrie

Erika Waldraut Guthrie was born in Germany, May 27, 1946, and passed away at her home January 23, 2024.  She was a retired self employed beautician and a resident of Hammond.  Erika was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.  She loved to travel and was a devoted Christian and was generous in donating to various charities.  Erica is survived by her son Mike Guthrie (Betty); sister, Editha Pachlatko; grandson, Eric Guthrie (Caitlin); step grandson, Brad Langlois; great grandchildren, Brock, Ava, and Noah Guthrie; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She is preceded in death by her husband, Don Carlton Guthrie, and her brother, Klaus Waldraut.  Visitation will be held at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd., Hammond, Monday, January 29, 2024, after 9:00 a.m. until religious services at 11:00 a.m.  conducted by John Cook.  Burial will follow in Port Hudson National Cemetery, Zachary, LA.
