Eric Joseph Bordok

Eric Joseph Bordok, age 75 of Hammond, Louisiana, passed away on Thursday, February 21, 2019 at his home. He was born on August 25, 1943, in Albany, Louisiana. He retired as a Ship Fitter from Avondale Shipyard.

Eric leaves behind his wife of 57 years, Virginia "Ginger" Lee Giovingo Bordok; sons and daughters-in-law, Gary (Lisa), David (Angie), and Steven (Greta); grandchildren, Hunter, Steven Jr., Alisa, Jacob, Dominick, and Makenzie; great grandson, Luca Mauer; brother, Dennis Sr.; sister, Cheryl; and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his father, Alex J. Bordok Jr. and mother, Pearl Manchack.

Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Monday, February 25, 2019 from 9:00 am until the funeral service begins at 1:00 pm.

Entombment will follow at Rose Memorial Park Cemetery in Hammond, Louisiana.
