Eric Craig

Eric Craig, of Tickfaw, went to the great duck blind in the sky on Sunday, September 26, 2021, at the age of 35. He was an avid waterfowl hunter and fisherman who loved spending time outdoors with his family and friends making lasting memories they will cherish forever.  Eric is known for his beautiful smile, his infectious laugh and the way he brightened any room he entered.  He was a passionate patriot and veteran of the United States Air Force with 10 years of dedicated service.  He currently worked as a contractor Sensor Operator "Baller" to keep his men safe overseas with over 40 tours to Afghanistan and Iraq.  Eric was the best dad, brother, and friend anyone could have asked for who will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

Eric is survived by his lovely ladies, Julia and Jasmine; children, Maelee Craig, JR Craig, Trina Broussard, Micah Heath, brothers, Nick Craig and his wife Christy, Vincent Marsiglia III; aunts, Carla Macaluso, Mary "Aunt Re-Re" Wells and husband Lyle; mother, Sharon Lee; as well as numerous cousins, extended family and friends.

He was preceded in death by his father, Steve Craig; and his uncle, John Macaluso.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation on Friday, October 8th at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home - Hammond from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. Visitation will resume on Saturday, October 9th at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home - Hammond from 10:00 a.m. until the Celebration of Life Service at 12:00 p.m. Bro. Lyle Wells will officiate the services with interment to follow in Holly Gardens Cemetery.
