Enola Stilley Mclaurin

Enola Stilley McLaurin, age 81 of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, passed away on Monday, September 23, 2019. She was born on Sunday, December 26, 1937, in Hammond, Louisiana, the daughter of the late Robert E. Stilley and the late Joyce Lavigne Stilley Wilson.

She was very devoted to her family and loved her grandchildren very much. She was an artist, who loved to paint, and sold many of her paintings. Enola volunteered at North Oaks Medical Center for 25 years, and also served her community along side her husband in his role with the PVFD and LSFA for over 40 years.

Enola is survived by her son & daughter-in-law, Erlo "Tiger" and Arva N. McLaurin, daughter & son-in-law, Stacey M. and Eddie Slay, grandchildren, Laurin Thompson and her husband Brandon, Beau McLaurin Davis and his wife Becky, Quinn Cameron Davis and his wife Brittany, Myranda McLaurin Thapa and her husband Saroj, and Candis Lea McLaurin; great-grandchildren, Sidney Thompson, Reed Thompson, Enola Davis, Elouise Davis, Beau McLaurin Davis Jr., and Freya Davis; brother, Robert "Bo" Stilley.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Erlo R. McLaurin Jr.; her father Robert E. Stilley; step-father and mother, Eddie and Joyce Lavigne Stilley Wilson, brother, Richard Stilley, and sister, Fay S. Patterson.

Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula , 100 W. Magnolia St. Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454, on Friday, September 27, 2019 from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm.

Services will be held in the funeral home chapel in Ponchatoula, on Friday, beginning at 1:00 pm.

Interment will follow at Ponchatoula Cemetery.
