Emily Makaela Rodgers

Emily Makaela Rodgers passed away on Tuesday, February 13, 2018, in Maurepas, Louisiana, at the age of 18.  She was born on Sunday, February 21, 1999, in Evanston, Wyoming to Joanie Lee Rodgers and Rudy G. Rodgers.

Emily is survived by her parents: mother, Joanie Lee Rodgers; father, Rudy G. Rodgers; close friend to the family, Marie Holley; sisters and brother, Gabrielle Rodgers, Daniel Kolb, II, Caitlin Rodgers, and Cherish Livingston; and grandmother, Teri Rodgers and many loving family members and friends.  Also survived by her beloved pet, Skylar.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Celebration of Emily's Life in the chapel of Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Emily's Birthday, Wednesday, February 21, 2018 at 4:00 pm.  Visitation will begin at 3:00 pm and continue until service time.

Donations may be made to a local pet rescue and adoption center, which was Emily's passion.
