Emily Ann Thibodaux Boudreaux, of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, was reunited with her sweetheart, Leon, on St. Valentine's Day 2026, at the age of 93. Ann was a graduate of Ponchatoula High School in 1950 where she was the first Miss PHS in 1949. She earned her credentials as a Registered Nurse in 1954, from the Mather School of Nursing at Southern Baptist Hospital in New Orleans. Ann was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and member of the Ponchatoula community. A devoted member of St. Joseph Catholic Church, she was actively involved with the Rosary Altar Society and the KC Ladies Auxiliary. She was honored as the Grand Marshal of the 2019 Ponchatoula Strawberry Festival, as well as named Distinguished Graduate for St. Joseph School that same year. Ann was the last of the four Ponchatoula "Betsy Ross Ladies," and the founder of the Louisiana Northshore Quilt Trail Association. She loved creating designs using machine embroidery. As an avid traveler and photographer, Ann enjoyed capturing her journeys and memories with her family through taking countless photos and creating slide shows. Ann's life was a rich tapestry of love, faith and friendship and she will be dearly missed by many.
Ann is survived by her four children, Cindy Molinari (Serge), Denise Arnondin, Randy Boudreaux, and Angela Pevey (Paul); 18 grandchildren, 52 great grandchildren, 2 great great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Ann was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Leon Boudreaux; parents, Penny and Edna Thibodaux; siblings, Evelyn Hebert, Penny Thibodaux Jr., and Geraldine Wright; son-in-law, Mike Arnondin; and great-granddaughter, Lillian Foret.
Family and friends will be received at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 255 North 8th Street, Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454 on Thursday, February 19, 2026 from 9:00 am until the Funeral Mass begins at 11:00 am.
Interment will follow at Ponchatoula Cemetery in Ponchatoula, Louisiana.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ann's memory to St. Joseph Catholic Church Building Fund.
