Elzie Eugene Morse

Eugene, 72, passed away peacefully at his home in Ponchatoula on Tuesday, February 5, 2019, after a long illness. Born on October 31, 1946 to Elzie John and Bertha Lee Morse. He retired as superintendant of Rubicon Chemicals at an early age. He loved cooking, camping, and just being around his friends.

He is survived by his wife, Pat Yent Morse; step son, Jeffrey Yent; daughters, Sonya Morse April and Barbara Alexander; grandson, Brandon Yent, granddaughters, Kelsey Yent, Lauren April, Kristan Miller, Brandi Amond, and Tiffany Thompson; great grandkids, Brooklyn Yent, Brisyn, Khloe, and Beckham Miller, and Brody, Baleigh, and Brantley Amond; brother, Hezzie Morse; and sister, Ruth Robertson.

He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Sherrill Morse and Bobby Blow; and brothers Glenn Arnold and Cleo Arnold.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 9, 2019, at Harry McKneely and Son Funeral Home 100 W Magnolia St. Ponchatoula, LA from 5:00 pm until the memorial service at 7:00 pm conducted by Bro. Glenn Fendlason.
