Elton "Moon" Bamber Husser

Elton "Moon" Bamber Husser, of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, July 19, 2021, at the age of 68. He was born on September 8, 1952, in Independence, Louisiana.

Elton is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Valerie Myers Husser, mother, Annie Marie Hutchinson Husser, brother, Ellis Ray Husser (Amber), mother-in-law, Mary Bardwell Myers, brother-in-law, Kelly Myers, Jr. (Karen), and nieces and nephews, Jennifer Perrin (Stephen), Shelly Prescia (Chris), Blake Husser, Taylor Myers,  Brandon Waller, Matthew Gros (Chelsea), Nicholas Gros ( Paige ) and Mark Bienvenu.  Great uncle to Ross and Brayden Perrin and Collin, Conner and Carson Prescia.

He was preceded in death by his father, Bamber "Junior" Husser Jr.

The family would like to give special thanks to Fresinus Kidney Care, Heart of Hospice, Eighth Ward Fire Dept and Scott’s Pharmacy.

Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401 on Friday, July 23, 2021 from 9:00 am until 11:00 am. A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 am.

Interment will follow at Cooper Cemetery in Ponchatoula, Louisiana.
