Elois Ester Ford, 90 years old of Hammond, Louisiana, passed away with her family by her side and Heavens gates opened up and Godâs angels greeted her on Saturday, September 10, 2016, in Hammond. She was born on Friday, March 5, 1926, in Osyka, Mississippi to Jim and Maybell Cleveland. Elois enjoyed life and loved sewing, flowers, visiting the nursing homes, her church and music but she especially loved spending time with her family.
Elois is survived by her sons, Millard Ford and his wife Mildred and Bruce Ford and his wife Kathy, her daughter, Linda Davis and her husband Gilbert âBungaloâ, her daughter in law Sonja Ford, her grandchildren, James Ford, Dewayne Ford, Michael Ford and his wife Katrina, Glenda Hebert, Rusty Ford and his wife Melissa, Emily Bankston and her husband Roy, Robert Davis and his wife Heidi, Rachee Jenkins and her husband Bruce, Amanda Higgs and her husband Neal, Jason Davis and his wife Jackie, April Ford, Jason âBennyâ Ford, Jr., Michelle Dinger, Patricia Ferguson and Todd Castiglia, numerous great grandchildren, also many nieces, nephews and close friends.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Jim and Maybell Cleveland, her husband Henry Ford, her son Jason Ford, Sr., her daughter Catherine âDianeâ Ford, her grandson Randy Ford, her brothers Melvin, James and Ira âTootiâ Cleveland, her sisters, Lola May Roundsville and Marie Easley
A Visitation for Elois will be held on Tuesday, September 13, 2016 from 6:00pm until 9:00pm and continue on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 from 9:00am â 11:00am at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond. A Funeral Service Celebrating Eloisâ Life will immediately follow Wednesdayâs visitation at 11:00am in the funeral home chapel. Interment will follow in the Ford Cemetery in Independence.
