Elmore Jake Mccarroll, Jr.

Elmore Jake McCarroll Jr., of Independence, Louisiana, passed away on Saturday, March 23, 2019, at Pontchartrain Health Care Centre at the age of 73. He was born on January 19, 1946, in Albany, Louisiana, the son of the late Elmore Jake McCarroll Sr. and the late Marie Barker McCarroll.

Elmore is survived by his son, Elmore Jake McCarroll, III and his fiancée Tonya Harris; 5 grandchildren, Brandon, Dylan, Jason, Abigail, and Josie McCarroll; siblings, Dorothy Kinchen,  Donald McCarroll, Vera Smith, Joan Perrilloux, Sam McCarroll, and Wendell McCarroll.

In addition to his parents, Elmore was preceded in death by his son, Ben Jason McCarroll; and previous wife, Kimberly Covington.
