Ellis William Loga, Jr. passed away on Friday, January 1, 2021, at the age of 87. Â He was the husband of the late Isabell Deion; loving father of Janet Wooten (Gerald), Brenda Barrois (Jerrod), Â the late Debra Loga, and Raymond Loga (Debbie); son of the late Ellis William Loga, Sr. and the late Esther Buras Loga; brother of the late Cleve Loga, Pamela Merritt (Johnny), and Wendy Morgan (Jimmy); proud grandfather of Kathleen Loga (Shawn), the late Andrew Bennett, Quentin Smith (Laura), Shane Smith, April Loga, Libby Guidry, Chastity Hammond, and Nicholas Loga. Ellis is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
Ellis was born in New Orleans, and spent his early childhood in Pilottown, Louisiana. He was a US Veteran and was retired from Freeport McMoran. Ellis was a resident of Hammond, Louisiana for the past 18 years and lived in Port Sulfur and Buras, Louisiana in his life. He loved his family and he loved the Lord.
Due to COVID-19, Ellis's family decided to have the services privately on Thursday, January 7, 2021. They would like to invite anyone who would like to do so to visit Ellis's grave anytime that they want to in Rose Memorial Park Cemetery in Hammond, 908 Western Avenue, Hammond, Louisiana 70401.
