Ella Mae Vampran

Ella Mae Vampran  passed away on Sunday, July 1, 2018, in Hammond, Louisiana, at the age of 98.  She was born on Tuesday, June 22, 1920 in Maurepas, Louisiana. Ella was a resident of Maurepas, Louisiana. She loved flowers, reading and going to the Maurepas Community Center.

Ella Mae is survived by her son, Kenneth Vampran and his wife Betty: daughter, Joane Matherne and her husband Jerry; grandchildren, Steve Vampran and his wife Jeanne, Melissa St. Pierre and her husband Roy, and Mark Vampran and his wife Pam; great-grandchildren, Brett Vampran, Trevor Vampran, Travis Vampran, Sydney St. Pierre and Blake Vampran; sister Iris Lauzervich; and numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Sidney Vampran; parents, Peter and Sydonia Lauzervich; sisters, Lois Boysen, Rita Felder and Doris Hill; and brother, Peter "Blue" Lauzervich, Jr.

Pallbearers will be Roy St. Pierre, Jr., Steve Vampran, Mark Vampran, Brett Vampran, Trevor Vampran, Travis Vampran, Blake Vampran and Calvin Fayard III.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at St. Stephen Catholic Church, 22494 Highway 22, Maurepas, Louisiana 70449, on Thursday, July 5, 2018 at 11:00 am. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 5, 2018, 9:00 am - 11:00 am.

Interment will follow in Maurepas Cemetery, Maurepas, Louisiana.
