Elaine Arwood

Elaine Arwood passed away on Monday, July 6, 2026, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, at the age of 72. She was born on Tuesday, May 18, 1954, in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late Charlie and Aline Corass. She was a resident of Hammond, Louisiana.

Elaine is survived by her son & daughter-in-law, Duanne Arwood (Katie); step-daughter, Toni Lynn Baiamonte; grandchildren, Keira, Alyssa and Kaleb Arwood, Dakota Baiamonte; great-grandchildren, Lennox and Charlie Sherman; siblings, Joe Corass, Barbara Kyzar, Brenda Corass, Kitty Griscom (Jacob, Sr.); and nephew and niece, Jacob, Jr. and Diane Griscom.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Michael and Peanut Corass.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Graveside Service at Our Lady of Pompeii Catholic Cemetery, Hwy 442, Tickfaw, Louisiana 70466, on Monday, July 13, 2026, at 10:00 am.
