Edward "Joe" Clyde Pierre

Edward "Joe" Clyde Pierre, of Folsom, Louisiana, passed away at his home on Thursday, March 17, 2022, at the age of 80. He was born on October 28, 1941, in Independence, Louisiana, the son of the late Filmore Pierre and Geneva Populis Pierre.

Joe is survived by his wife of 60 years, Alice Sharp Pierre; sons, Joseph Dwayne "Josh" Pierre and Jimmy Roy Pierre (Melinda); grandchildren, Brandon Pierre, Santana Pierre, Steven Pierre, Timothy Joe Pierre, Josh Dwayne "Little Josh" Pierre (Rachele), Brandi Alford, and Brett Allen Pierre; 17 great grandchildren; sister, Lois Laverne Pierre; and numerous nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents. Joe was preceded in death by his daughter, Rose Marie Pierre; son, Timothy Dale Pierre; granddaughter, Toshiona Pierre; grandson Joseph Dwayne Pierre Jr.; great grandsons, Robert Wayne Kruebbe  and brother, Louis Pierre.

Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home, 2000 N. Morrison Blvd, Hammond, Louisiana 70401 on Monday, March 21, 2022 from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm.

A Funeral Service will begin on Monday at 1:00 pm.

Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery in Uneedus, Louisiana.
