Edward Lee Bramlet

Edward Lee Bramlet passed away on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, in Tickfaw, Louisiana, at the age of 80. He was born on Thursday, February 15, 1945, in Miami, Oklahoma to the late William Edward Bramlet and the late Bertha Wilson Bramlet. He was a resident of Tickfaw, Louisiana. Edward loved God, golf, and family.

Edward is survived by his wife, Dorothy Weeks Bramlet; daughter, Lisa Michelle Sessions; son & daughter-in-law, Gregory Alan Bramlet and Stephanie Bramlet; step-children, Kimberly Mercer and Timothy Reeves; grandchildren, Michael Rabalais(Kelly Ortego), Christopher Bramlet(Kaitlyn Hicks), Dana Bramlet, Reagan Shivley, William Mercer VII, and Alex Reeves(Ellie); great-grandchildren, Dominic Haynes, Jennifer Bramlet, Dean Bramlet, and Reese Reeves; and brother, James H. Bramlet.

He was preceded in death by his parents, William Edward Bramlet and Bertha Wilson Bramlet; his first wife, Sadie Bramlet; and his son-in-law, John Sessions.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Hammond, 2000 N. Morrison Boulevard, Hammond, Louisiana 70401, on Thursday, April 10, 2025, from 5:00 PM until 9:00 PM. The visitation will continue at the following day; Friday, April 11, 2025, from 11:00 AM until the funeral service begins at 1:30 PM.

Interment will follow in Rose Memorial Park Cemetery, Hammond, Louisiana.
