Dylan Andrew Wilkinson

Dylan Andrew Wilkinson, age 33, peacefully met his Lord and Savior on Tuesday morning, August 11, 2026, at his Loranger home surrounded by his loving family and friends. There will never be enough words to describe Dylan. He was a husband and a dad first. The most intentional and kindest one there ever was. He was a son, a brother, an uncle and a friend. He was an advocate, an entrepreneur, and an athlete. He was the tech king and an amazing musician. He was the epitome of a man who was seeking and serving the Lord. He honored the Lord with his half heart for his whole life. In 33 years living with HLHS (Hypoplastic Left Heart Syndrome), he did more than we can hope to do in our whole lives. A million pictures and words will never be able to say how much he meant to us. His battle has always belonged to the Lord. He left a giant hole in this world when he went on to the next. Our hearts are shattered, but we know without a doubt he was met in the early morning hours with a “well done my GOOD and faithful servant”.

He leaves behind his loving wife of 8 years, Danielle Wilkinson; son, Declan Durbin; father, Jimmy Wilkinson, Sr. (Pam Dawson); siblings, Brittany Wilkinson Traylor (John) and Jimmy Wilkinson, Jr. (Kacie); grandparents Patricia and Welton Lewis; as well as his nieces and nephews, Addison, Aiden, Eli, Madilyn, Kade, and Asher.

Preceding him in death were his mother, Leah Wilkinson; grandparents, Richard Roach, Estelle Wilkinson and J.C. Wilkinson; as well as his special aunt, Sherry Cibiulski.

Family and friends are invited to attend his Celebration of Life Service on Friday, August 14, 2026, at Loranger Baptist Church at 5:00 p.m. Visitation will follow the Celebration of Life Service in the Loranger Baptist multipurpose building until 9:00 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, Dylan's wish was for donations to be made to the Leah Wilkinson Memorial Foundation.
