Martin, Dustin Charles

Dustin was born January 16, 1990, in Baton Rouge, LA, and passed away March 11, 2021, in Ponchatoula, LA, at age 31.  

He attended Ponchatoula High School and was a construction foreman and known for his strong work ethic. In his spare time, Dustin could be found hunting and fishing and loved to host crawfish and crab boils.  

Dustin is survived by his father, Marty Dewitt Martin, Enid, MS; mother, Rhea Martin, Tickfaw; sister, Brittiany Martin, Prairieville; paternal grandfather, Robert Martin; maternal grandfather, Herbert Becnel, Sr.; best friend whom he considered his brother, David Pritchett; uncles, Kenny Martin, Chris Martin, and Herbert Becnel, Jr., Randy Wempren and Harris Duhe; aunts, Connie Martin, Candace Martin, Roxanne Duhe, and Ranell Wempren; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, friends, and loved ones.  Dustin loved and was loved.  

Dustin will be laid to rest at Sandhill Cemetery, Ponchatoula after a graveside service Tuesday, March 16, 2021, at 2:30 pm.
