Douglas Alces Rodriguez, age 73 of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2019. He was born on Monday, February 18, 1946, in Ponchatoula, Louisiana. Douglas was a resident of Ponchatoula, Louisiana.

He was a retired Nurse Practitioner and business owner of Cy-fair Health Management.

Douglas is survived by his wife, Antia Rodriguez; brother, Len Rodriguez and his wife Marie; and his beloved dog, Chewy.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Alces and Verdis Nickens Rodriguez; and brothers, Joe Bill Rodriguez and Darryl Michael Rodriguez.

Visitation for Family and Friends will be held on Thursday, October 10, 2019 from 9:00 am until the Funeral Service begins at 12:00 pm at Harry McKneely and Son Funeral Home, 100 West Magnolia Street, Ponchatoula, Louisiana, 70454.

Interment will follow at Parklawn Memorial Gardens in Hammond, Louisiana.
