Dotsy Meyers Eleser

Dotsy Meyers Eleser, of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, passed away on Wednesday, December 23, 2020, at the age of 92. She was born on Wednesday, June 6, 1928, in Frost, Louisiana, the daughter of the late Louis and Mary Antoinette Moran Meyers.

Dotsy is survived by her daughter, Lana J. Eleser, son & daughter-in-law, Reginald "Reggie" and Linda S. Eleser, daughter-in-law, Rosalie Eleser, grandchildren, Braville LeBlanc, Dawn Brooks, Lisa Luther, Rodney Eleser, Scarlet Morris, Gator Eleser, and Byron Eleser, 10 great-grandchildren, and 4 great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 75 years, Richard John Eleser, son, Richard "R.J." Eleser, Jr., daughter, Virgie Eleser LeBlanc, 8 sisters, Lillie Babin, Lydia DeArmond, Virgie LeBourgeois, Grace Meyers, Lillian Meyers,  Beaulah Braud, Elsie Cox, and Lena Frazier; 7 brothers, Ovide Meyers, Louis Meyers, Leo Meyers, Grant Meyers, Bill Meyers, Eugene Meyers, and Edmond Meyers.

Family and friends will be received at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula , 100 W. Magnolia St., Ponchatoula, Louisiana 70454 on Saturday, December 26, 2020 from 6:00 pm until 9:00 pm. and on Sunday, December 27, 2020 from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm.

A Funeral Service will be held in the  Funeral Home Chapel in Ponchatoula, on Sunday at 2:00 pm.

Interment will follow in the Ponchatoula Cemetery Mausoleum.
