Dorothy Lee Johnson

Dorothy Lee Johnson , 86 years old of Ponchatoula, Louisiana, passed away Saturday, February 10, 2018, at St. Tammany Parish Hospital.

She was born on Friday, January 1, 1932, in Big Bend, La. and was a native of Simmesport, Louisiana.  

Mrs. Johnson is survived by 3 daughters; Jennifer Hoover, Susan Jones (Gary), and Julie Galladora; 3 sons; Thomas Dupont (Jody), Glen Dupont (Rose Hundley) and John Johnson (Cindy); brother, Milton Hartley; 23 grandchildren and numerous great and great-great grandchildren; and daughter in law, Mollie Dupont.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Milton and Julia Hartley; first husband, Cedric Dupont, second husband, Sylvester Ray Johnson; 2 sons, Cedric Anthony Dupont and Roger Dale Dupont; 3 sisters, Katy Kimble, Rosie Dozier and Margie Lemoine; and 2 sons in law, Sammy Galladora and Robert "Gene" Hoover.

A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 pm on Thursday, February 15, 2018 at the Bedico Community Cemetery.
