Dorothy Elaine Bennett

Dorothy Elaine Bennett passed away on Friday, September 8, 2017, in Robert, Louisiana at the age of 75.  She was born on Monday, September 22, 1941 in Ponchatoula, Louisiana to Earl and Christine Hoover Poche.  She was a resident of Robert, Louisiana.

Dorothy  is survived by her husband of 51 years, Jerry Bennett; son, Codt Bennett; grandson, Lance Bennett; sister Linda Sheridon; 4 brothers, E.J. and Ann Poche, Glen and Kay Poche, Ronald Poche, and Jackie and Melanie Poche; and numerous nieces and nephews.  

She was preceded in death by her parents, Earl and Christine Hoover Poche; and brother-in-law, Don Sheridan.  

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation at Harry McKneely & Son Funeral Home in Ponchatoula, on Monday, September 11, 2017 from 9:00 am until the Funeral Service at 11:00 am.

Interment will follow in Joiner Cemetery.
